The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) funds efforts for prevention and finding a cure for breast cancer. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death in women, and there are more than 225,000 new diagnoses each year- one new diagnosis every 2.3 minutes in the United States. I?m so lucky that my mother is a survivor of breast cancer, thanks in part to the work of organizations like BCRF. Hopefully, the clinical research and awareness campaigns funded by BCRF will completely eliminate this disease some day.
